Electronic Arts is due to attend the Star Wars Celebration next month in Anaheim, California

Electronic Arts is due to attend the Star Wars Celebration next month in Anaheim, California, but no one knows why. They are listed as an exhibitor for the show, however, further details about their attendance is mentioned on the event website.

GameSpot reached out to EA to ask what the developer plans on doing at the show.

EA signed on for a ten-year contract with the Star Wars franchise owner Disney back in 2013 for games that are going to be based on the series. The games will be developed by their two marquee studios: DICE and Visceral.

We all know by now that DICE is currently working on Star Wars: Battlefront and that is should be launching by the end of the year. In the meantime, Visceral is supposedly creating an open-world Star Wars game.

Amy Hennig, former Uncharted creative director, has teamed up with EA to help work on Visceral’s new Star Wars game. The design director for Star Wars: Battlefront has teased that DICE will be revealing more about the game sometime during the spring. This big reveal would fit in nicely with the Star Wars Celebration happening very soon.

Electronic Arts will attend next month's Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, California, but right now, it's unclear why. The publisher is listed as an exhibitor for the show, to be held April 16-19, but no
other details are provided on the event's website.
